Earring Tutorial...

Fancy making a pair of earrings?

You will need:
Chosen focal findings (in this case two silver plated octopus!)
eye pins, jump rings & ear wires in matching colours (silver plated here)
roundnose pliers
clamping pliers (not essential)

(Edit: You will need to use the pliers to gently open the eyepins here to attach your chosen findings.)

This is my first ever earring tutorial so if you have any questions please leave a comment & I'll get back to you asap!

PS. Don't forget to enter my giveaway!

PPS. For those of you that are curious I get most of my supplies from Etsy and I often restock whenever I'm in Norfolk as there are dozens of little crafty shops up that way!

This is pretty much how I made my earrings! (To sell, not to wear. My ears aren't pierced!) Those are too cute.

Great tutorial - I do have a (probably dense) question though - do you need the pliers to attach the eye pin to start off with? Or is it open enough to slip on? I have made earrings (once) but I think I just somehow managed to attach the little beads straight to the ear wire (they were only tiny) and I definitely didn't have any jewellery type pliers. Have you got a 'Tiger' near you? They sell some jewellery supplies.

Ooh by the way I was trawling your blog and found your wire-wrapped gemstone earrings - did you ever do a tutorial on those?
